We have successfully completed dozens of residential and commercial projects over the past 30+ years. We choose equipment from a suite of suppliers, only using products field tested and proven reliable, that offer effective energy management controls and heating units that will operate year after year with optimum efficiency and sustain the comfort owners desire.

I need to comment on the over-blown assesments by ceiling and floor radiant sales folks. Floor radiant promotes the newness of their products. I’ve been approached many times over the years to represent floor radiant products. These products are problematic because they are 1) expensive to install, 2) energy inefficient, 3) expensive to maintain, and 4) if there is a leak, it is the jackhammer for repairs. Promotions say, ”with our ‘new’ systems and plastic pipes there are no leaks”, but if there is any earth movement - it’s “rain everywhere”, as an architect from California recently told me. There is nothing new about floor radiant costs and performance since Frank Lloyd Wright used this method in the 1940’s when energy cost was no concern. The biggest argument against floor radiant products is they provide no “radiant barrier” (“Getting our Game Plan Straight”) with either floor or ceiling locations - meaning poor comfort around cold walls and windows and poor energy efficiency.
